I'm running to…

I'm Allison (Ally) Montgomery – I’m a Huntsville native, a software engineer supporting Redstone Arsenal, an experienced grassroots volunteer political organizer, an aunt to five (three of whom will/attend Madison City Schools), a graduate of Bob Jones and UAH, a proud Eagle Scout, and a practicing Christian.

I'm running because I've been there. I've been in the halls of the State House, doing the work to advocate for my community against large, well-funded special interest groups. For three years, I've analyzed legislation, rallied people around this grassroots effort, and worked with legislators who are unlike me in order to block harmful, senseless "culture war" bills. I know what it's like to face an uphill battle, and I have the courage to advocate for policy that will help Alabama’s people, even when I know there will be opposition to it.

I'm ready, from day one, to advocate for you.

You deserve good governance. You deserve an Alabama that gives its all to ease the burdens its people face. You deserve better.

You deserve an ally in Montgomery.

Vote for me on May 19, and I’ll be that ally.

People over money. Growth over complacency. Constituents over corporations.

The finer details of policy are important, and we need to process and analyze those details as humans instead of giving into the temptation of complacency.
